Window World of Fargo is a fast-growing exterior remodeling franchise. We service homeowners throughout eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. We install energy-efficient replacement windows, doors, siding, and more. As a franchise, we provide the customer service of a small business, while being backed by a nationally recognized brand. We offer a wide range of superior products that are installed by professional installation crews.

Position Summary: 

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to consistently achieve revenue, closing, and customer experience goals. This role owns day-to-day sales performance, pipeline health, and accountability while developing the team through coaching, training, and clear expectations.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager works closely with marketing, operations, and production to align promotions, lead generation, and execution in the field. A key responsibility of this role is ensuring documented sales processes are followed consistently and that what is sold aligns with production capabilities—setting installation teams up for success and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The Sales Manager uses performance data and sales tools to review results, reinforce standards, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

Job Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership, Performance & Coaching

§  Lead the sales team to achieve revenue, closing, and customer experience goals

§  Set clear expectations for performance, professionalism, and activity standards

§  Monitor individual and team performance metrics and address gaps proactively

§  Provide ongoing coaching through one-on-one sessions, ride-alongs, and review of sales activity

§  Lead regular sales meetings focused on results, skill development, and alignment

Sales Process, Execution & Collaboration

§  Ensure documented sales processes are followed consistently across the team

§  Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasting, and sales documentation

§  Collaborate with marketing on promotions, campaigns, and lead generation efforts

§  Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging, and field performance

§  Work closely with production and operations to ensure what is sold aligns with installation capabilities

§  Perform and verify field measurements as needed, including supporting new sales team members and handling unique or complex projects to ensure accurate scopes and successful installations

Customer Experience, Accountability & Team Development

§  Reinforce scope clarity, pricing discipline, and proper job setup to support smooth installations

§  Address sales-related issues that impact production or customer satisfaction

§  Lead recruiting, onboarding, and development of sales team members

§  Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with company values

 

Work Hours: 

This is a full-time position. Work hours will generally align with standard business hours, with flexibility required based on the needs of the sales team and customer appointment schedules. Evening and occasional weekend availability is expected to support in-home sales appointments, ride-alongs, and team leadership responsibilities.

Desired Experience and Skills:

§  Proven experience leading and coaching a sales team, with a track record of improving performance and accountability.

§  Strong understanding of consultative or in-home sales processes and customer experience.

§  Comfortable using data and KPIs to manage performance, identify trends, and drive improvement.

§  Confident coach who can give direct, constructive feedback and develop people over time.

§  Prior hands-on experience measuring windows, doors, and related products for replacement projects in an in-home sales or remodeling environment.

§  Experience working within a CRM and enforcing clean, consistent usage.

§  Clear, professional communicator who builds trust with both customers and internal teams.

§  Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing follow-through.

Additional Requirements:

§  Ability to travel to job sites, customer locations, or company offices as needed.

§  A history of safe and responsible driving, if driving company vehicles is required.

§  Capability to occasionally lift, carry, or move materials, or stand for extended periods during training or on-site visits.

§  Willingness to undergo a criminal background check if required by the company.

§  Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

Ability to work evenings or weekends if required for sales meetings or even 
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
