Entry Level Office Support Assistant (Part-Time)
Position Overview:
- Perform diverse administrative and office support tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Complete assigned duties accurately and efficiently.
- Take detailed notes on instructions and feedback to improve performance.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Perform accurate data entry into computer systems.
- Assist with filing and organizing physical and electronic documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide basic information in a professional manner.
- Greet and direct visitors in a professional manner.
- Provide basic support to other departments as needed.
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage email correspondence, including drafting, sending, and organizing emails.
- Perform photocopying, scanning, and faxing tasks as needed.
- No prior professional experience required; entry-level position.
- Basic understanding of common software applications (e.g., Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Willingness to learn basic steps to address common computer issues.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn quickly.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated ability to use home row keys for efficient typing.
- Ability to type at a speed of 40+ Words Per Minute (WPM) with accuracy.
- Part-time, Monday through Friday, generally 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- The schedule includes an unpaid lunch break.
- $12.00 - $15.00 per hour, corresponding with experience and qualifications.
